Standard Bank Corporate and Investment Banking is driving international investment into Africa through the African Markets Conference 2026, set to take place in Cape Town later this month.
The event will convene global investors, sovereign wealth funds, and policymakers to accelerate capital flows into Africa’s key sectors.
Luvuyo Masinda, CEO of Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank, stated that the conference builds on the 2025 edition, aiming to shift Africa’s narrative from risk to resilience. He emphasised the need for practical steps to deepen capital pools, improve market liquidity, and strengthen regulatory frameworks to boost investor confidence and foster inclusive economic growth.
