Axxela Integrated Power has formalised a Power Purchase Agreement with Evans Industries Limited, a foremost Nigerian manufacturer of home and personal care products, in a move aimed at tackling the persistent challenge of unreliable power supply for industries across the country.
The deal signed recently in Lagos, will see Axxela Integrated Power deploy cost-efficient and dependable integrated power solutions to support the day-to-day operations of Evans Industries. According to both companies, the initiative is expected to cut energy expenses, reduce downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency, thereby enhancing Evans Industries’ competitive edge in Nigeria’s fast-growing consumer goods market.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Managing Director of Axxela Integrated Power, Olufisayo Duduyemi, emphasised that the agreement went beyond a typical commercial transaction.
“This partnership represents more than just a contractual relationship. It reflects our shared vision of building a sustainable future through reliable energy solutions that create long-term value for Evans Industries,” Duduyemi said.
He explained that one of the most pressing issues confronting Nigerian manufacturers is the lack of consistent, affordable, and sustainable electricity supply. Many businesses, he noted, have been compelled to rely heavily on self-generation at significantly higher costs, which directly undermines profitability, competitiveness, and long-term growth.
