LemFi, a global fintech platform serving immigrants across North America, the UK, and Europe, has announced a strategic partnership with GCash, the Philippines’ leading mobile wallet with over 94 million active users.

This collaboration allows Filipinos abroad to send money directly to GCash wallets through the LemFi app — offering fast, low-cost, and seamless remittance services.

The announcement follows LemFi’s recent milestones, including a Series B fundraise, acquisition of a European remittance license, and the purchase of credit fintech Pillar to expand financial access for diaspora communities.

Key Benefits of the Partnership:

  • 💸 Zero Transfer Fees
  • 🔄 Automatic Currency Conversion
  • 📱 No Minimum Transfer Limits
  • Instant Delivery to GCash Wallets

“This is more than convenience—it’s connection,” said Paul Albano, GCash International GM. “Our kababayans abroad want speed and reliability. This partnership delivers both.”

Patricia Estrella, Community Lead at LemFi, added:

“We’re giving the Filipino diaspora the tools to take care of their families and feel even closer to home.”

Raymund Abog, LemFi’s Head of Growth for Southeast Asia, emphasized the value of the integration:

“For millions of Filipinos using GCash, this partnership represents convenience, connection, and a commitment to serve wherever they are.”

Philip Daniel, LemFi’s Head of Global Expansion, described the partnership as a milestone in LemFi’s mission to make international payments easier and more inclusive.

The announcement was made during a community brunch in Toronto, attended by 50 Filipino leaders from healthcare, finance, and cultural organizations.
