The African Brands marked a major milestone on June 20, 2025, as it celebrated a decade of brand excellence and impact with a grand 10th Anniversary Summit at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Since its inception in 2015, The African Brands has carved a leading role in African brand journalism and strategic brand intelligence, thanks to its Lead publication, The African Brands Magazine, and its broader media ecosystem. The anniversary event not only recognized the publication’s journey but also unveiled The African Brands Group Ltd, a new brand development holding company housing key subsidiaries including The African Brands Media Ltd (home to The African Brands TV, Magazine, and Radio), The African Brands Academy, ESG Impact Consulting, The Brands Report Publication Ltd, and the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria (IBMN).
The summit featured top Industry leaders and branding experts who addressed core topics like purpose-driven branding, strategic leveraging for growth, and dynamic customer engagement in Africa’s evolving market landscape.
