Nigeria LNG Limited has unveiled a new logo as part of its rebranding effort to enhance energy supply to Nigerians and its global customers.
During a press briefing in Lagos on Tuesday, the company also announced the retirement of its General Manager of External Relations and Sustainable Development, Andy Odeh, who will be succeeded by Mrs. Sophia Horsfall.
Odeh emphasized that the new logo reflects the company’s commitment to embracing innovations for greater sustainability. He highlighted that NLNG aims to be recognized not just as a gas company, but as an energy company that promotes a greener environment and a sustainable future.
In his farewell remarks, Odeh expressed gratitude to the media for their support over the past 26 years and requested that the same support be extended to his successor.
Mrs. Horsfall, the newly appointed spokesperson, echoed Odeh’s appreciation for the media and stated that the rebranding represents more than a mere visual change; it symbolizes a commitment to a future where clean, accessible, and reliable energy is a reality for everyone. “This is our purpose, and it aligns with the vision you have conveyed to the public in your reporting, helping to shape the perception and trust the world has in us,” she remarked.
Horsfall acknowledged the media’s essential role, saying, “Your support, time, and insights are crucial to our ongoing success, and we are genuinely thankful for the important role you play in our journey. As I step into this position, I look forward to strengthening the invaluable collaboration we have developed together. We have the potential to elevate NLNG’s influence and aspirations, and I am eager to partner with each of you to realize our shared vision.”
