Zinox Technologies, a leading technology firm in Nigeria, celebrated its 23rd anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to driving digital transformation across Africa.

Founded in 2001 by visionary entrepreneur Leo Stan Ekeh, recognized as one of Africa’s foremost tech icons by Forbes, Zinox has consistently been at the forefront of delivering innovative technology solutions in Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement released on Sunday, the company reflected on its remarkable journey since inception, emphasizing its mission to bridge critical gaps in Nigeria’s ICT sector. “Zinox was established to provide the nation with a digital identity and proudly stands as the first indigenous ICT company to design and manufacture internationally certified computers in Nigeria,” the statement noted.

Over its two-decade history, Zinox has achieved numerous significant milestones, including becoming the first original equipment manufacturer in Sub-Saharan Africa to receive Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab Certification for computing devices. The company has also led some of the continent’s largest ICT initiatives, encompassing extensive projects in e-education, e-health, and comprehensive campus-wide network deployments.

“Zinox has continually pushed the boundaries of technology, emerging as the first Microsoft Prime Production Online Automation Partner in Sub-Saharan Africa with the OA Version 3.0, as well as the first Intel Premium Partner in the region,” the statement highlighted, underscoring its dedication to innovation.

Further solidifying its leadership in Africa’s ICT landscape, Zinox became the first OEM in West Africa to achieve ISO 9001-2015 certification and secured a Google Mobile Application Distribution Agreement for the region.

Looking to the future, Zinox remains committed to developing advanced solutions that address the evolving needs of its customers across Africa. “We continue to diversify our product offerings, which now include alternative power solutions, artificial intelligence, robotics, fibre optics, and e-voting systems, all aimed at fostering sustainable development across the continent,” the company stated.
