African Brands, committed to advancing and fostering brand development throughout the continent, will be honoring financial technology firms for their contributions to enhancing financial inclusion across Africa at the fifth Africa Financial Technology Congress (AFTC).

The event, themed ‘Harnessing the Power of Fintech to Accelerate Financial Inclusion in Emerging Markets”, is scheduled to be held on July 31, 2024, in Lagos.

The organizers of the event highlighted the significant growth of the African fintech sector over the past decade, noting the presence of 1400 active fintech brands across the continent.

In this context, the African Financial Technology Congress 2024 aims to provide further insights into the advancements of Africa’s fintech revolution,” stated African Brands.

The congress intends to gather senior representatives from banks, government bodies, investors, financial information systems (FIS), card providers, payment services platforms, blockchain executives, and solution providers.
