Anthony Onyemaechi Elumelu also know as Tony Elumelu (FR) is a Nigerian economist, and philanthropist He chairs heirs holding, Transcorp United Bank of Africa (UBA) and is the founder of the Tony Elumelu foundation.

Muhammad bin Zayid Al Nahyan, popularly known by his initials as MBZ or Mbz is an Emirati royal and politician who currently serves as the third president of the United Arabs Emirates and the ruler of the Abu Dhabi.

During the Abu Dhabi Global health care week, the president of UAE Muhammad bin Zayid Al Naliyan and Tony Elumelu met at the global health care week which was organized by the President himself tagged “Reimagining health and life partnering to invest in humanity.”

The Abu Dhabi Global health care week which had in attendance several health ministers and official who participated in the Abu Dhabi Global health care week.

The meeting is to exchange ideas & insight on the latest trends and technological advances shaping the global healthcare system he also stressed the importance of developing innovative solution to address challenges facing the health sector.

Tony Elumelu spoke on global health equity, he said there are significant imbalance in the quality of health outcomes stressing that poor countries miss out while rich countries enjoy excessive investment in research and development and medical services.

His highest promised to be committed to supporting all efforts and initiatives aimed at advancing the future of health care and strengthening global health system.

Participants expressed their appreciation to the organizers for the program which provides a vital platform for dialogue and the exchange of idea on future health care needs and strategies for advancing health care through a proactive and preventive approach.
