It was a remarkable event at the Civic Center Victoria Island Lagos, where Brand CEOs gathered together to learn, interact, and be celebrated by its host, African Brands Media Limited, 2023.

The event was a maiden edition of The African Brands CEOs Forum organised by The African Brands Media Limited on Friday October 27, 2023 with the theme “Brands Built To Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Brands CEOs in Africa”

The aim of the gathering was to unite all Brands CEOs across Africa and to bring them under the same roof to discuss common interest-sustaining their Brand Equity.

The discussion was moderated by Ajai-Ikhile

Akpo Gordon who was speaking on the theme Brands Built to last, told Brand CEOs present the forum that in building a brand that will last, in presenting a brand, you have to understand who you are talking to that is your audience, know who you are, you must do what you can do consistently.

”A brand CEO must create a good impression for people to trust, love your brands, pay attention to important things about the brand because If you are not paying attention in what you should pay attention to, your brands will lose value. A brand CEO have to present something different to make a good brand that will be built to last,”

Victor Ademola Dairo speaking on growing ideas said, a brand CEO that wants to build a lasting brand must make sure that it’s ideas stands out. According to him, ninety percent of ‘trying it’ always workout, so, a brand CEO should always think of ideas that will grow it’s brand and try it.

He told brand CEOs at the forum that collaboration is important for brands to last. Explaining, he said, “When you see your brands dying, you should collaborate with other brands, work with agency to help your brands live and grow.”

At the panel discussion, tagged: creating visionary brands, Akpo said in creating a visionary brands, CEOs should take risk to do something different, look at the needs and the gap to fill in. Example, she Ankara was formerly wore by mother’s, but, when they wanted the Gen-z to start wearing them, they had to change the style to fit and fill in the gap. It is the same way a Brand CEO should do to create a visionary brands in Africa.

Above all, she said you must believe on what you are selling, “find a a way out of no way to live your brand”

The forum was followed by introduction of companies. Companies were called to come and make their presentations so that others will know what they do.
Immediately after that, brands CEOs were given time to interact with each other for business of which they later went to the exhibition stands.

The next in the agenda was the Award presentation and certificates that was given to Brand CEOs for their remarkable contributions in the society and efforts towards building a successful visionary brands in Africa.

Brand CEOs that was present RNZ Global, Avila Naturalle, Bowa Homes, Xtralarge Farm & Resors, and many more were all present it the forum.
